I have to agree, that this game is a diamond in the rough.
It was lying around in my GOG account for ages untill I finally decided to try it out and I am glad I did.
Yes the dialogue is dodgy, yes there is lip syncing issues, but easily fixed (look at this thread about half way down for a post by stubbie
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/two_worlds/npcs_do_not_lip_sync ) and yes the dialogues can be cut off sometimes, easily fixed by leaving Media Player open (of all things) while you play the game, plus there are mods I found here

I also like the TES games (Daggerfall and Morrowind being my favorites from the series), but Two Worlds in its own way, is just as much fun too.
