Does the GOG version requires the ingame activation? I bought Two World 2 on steam before but the game required an ingame activation with my personal details like name & adress and so on. I refused to give that information inside the game's activation procedure to an unkown party. Valve removed it from my library and did a refund as I'm told them to do so. So, If I buy THIS GOG version, is there the same ingame activation method?

I don't think so. But I haven't gotten around to playing this one yet, so I'm not sure. Can someone else confirm?
No GOG game requires ingame activation and TW2 is no exception. You only need to input multiplayer key if you want to use it.
Thank you very much! In that case I'm going to buy it!
I'm now very sad that I bought it on Steam and spent over 2 weeks trying to get the darn thing to activate...

You should be! "Buying" games on Steam is like going to the arcades and paying the owner 10$ to indefinitely play your favorite cabinet. You can play it anytime you want but it's not really yours...

Also, why buy something on Steam if it's available on GOG?

Steam has its positive sides. It is like a social platform (If you like that, of course) for gamers. I can communicate with my friends before, while and after playing, seeing what screenshots they have uploaded and such stuff. And most newer games offer to save the games in a cloud so I don't have to deal with synchronize savegames (I travel a lot between two places, both with desktop PCs). And Steam has some great deals, too. I tend not to buy full price games on steam, mostly huge sales (75% off and such).

So it's not a bad deal to use Steam after all.

Because Two Worlds 2 was available on Steam for approximately two years before it appeared on GOG. I'm pretty sure Steam was the only place one could buy it in the United States, too.
Where do you get the Multi Player key? From GoG?

I didn't get a Multi Player key with my purchase. Where can I get one/ do I have to purchase it separately?

Go to your games account, and click on Two Worlds. Your key is written there.
I can't seem to find my multiplayer key anywhere on my account page... any ideas?

Go into your game shelf and click on your Two Worlds II: Epic edition game. A window then opens with the download options, the serial number is written directly under the Windows installer download button. Hope this helps :)

Should have mentioned, sorry... I was referring to the original Two Worlds, not the sequel, I already have the key for that one. Thanks for the reply though!

No worries :)

Unfortunately, I have no idea on where to find the multiplayer key for the original game and the only thing I can suggest is for you to contact support and ask them. They are usually quite quick in replying so hopefully you'll get the information soon. Good luck :)

Getting a key for the first game is actually pretty annoying. Instructions in this post:

I got a key this way, so it does work, but it's much more annoying than the process for the second game.
