Playing Two Worlds and loving it!
But I have a problem, somehow a mushroom has appeared on the quickbar where my the health potion should be and I can find a way to get it back to health potion. I have tried dropping a health potion on there but it doesn't work...

I think you can't customize the stuff that goes on the default quickbar (F7), but you can customize what goes on the other quickbars (F8, F9, F10) by dragging stuff to them.

It is strange. There used to be health potions in this slot, then I noticed that they had changed to mushrooms.
Just don't use the default quickbar, it is garbage. Just switch to f8 and you will find the bar much better.

Yes, the default quickbar works that way, you don't get to decide what goes there, the game does that for you.
What probably happened is that at some point you must have run out of health potions and the game automatically put something else from your inventory in that slot - the mushroom.
Just press F8 (or F9 or F10) to change to an empty quickbar that you can customize as you want. You can put spells, abilities, potions, weapons, whatever you wish.
I never understood the logic behing the default quickbar in Two Worlds, i'm not usre anyone ever did.

Yeah it seems to that the F7 quick bar changes. I got poisoned and the health spot changed to a potion and then back to a mushroom after I was healed. Must be some kind of dynamic system.
I think the standard quick bar changes health/antidote/mana potions and items based on your current needs. If you are injured, it selects a healing potion/plant/..mushroom.. based on how badly hurt you are, so that you don't waste more expensive/powerful items on minor injuries (same goes for mana). If you are poisoned, it puts an antidote where a health potion/plant would usually be.
I'm not 100% sure if I'm right, but that's how it's always appeared to work for me.
I think you're right, and while I do use the other command bars, I have found that the game's automatic swapping is pretty efficient, especially once your HP total requires the higher level health potions of 7500 and 15000 HP ( not to mention a couple of other recipes that can result in even higher potencies. )
