I'm really sorry to ask here, but I just registered there and it won't send me an confirmation email. I can't post, I can't contact anyone and I just wanted do download some mods for Two Worlds II :(
Oddly I already have some of the mods from the last time I played, though I never made an account before. I can't find them anywhere else, too.

They are attached to forum threads, not in the downloads section, that's why.. and I don't want to play with worldmerge, at least not yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've try to register with two different emails. so far world merge and character edit seem to be the only two up to date.. somewhat. even they guy who put together worldmerge isn't doing mods for this game any more. his last post on that forum was in 2012. however they are still posting on that site. I don't know what the deal is either. all I wanted was the colors and slots mod, even became a member on a Russian forum to get it, to bad it wouldn't work. but I've got to tell you after putting 20 hrs into non modded, I like worldmerge 3x more. I just wish they were still putting these mods out. wouldn't use an xbox controller if you do worldmerge though

I only use Colors and Slots, Potion Animation and some 25% black inventory background mod atm, because only one of them (Colors and Slots) has a TwoWorlds.par file. Unfortunately, the version I have is for 1.2 so I redated it to be more recent than the patch. Now it overwrites all the 1.3 changes and I have absolutely no idea if this will cause problems in the long run.

I didn't dare to install the ParamReader Tool, because it gives a lot of warnings in my anti virus software :/
Otherwise I might have been able to update the mods myself.

Actually the updated Colors and Slots mod was the reason I wanted my account there. This and the female char mod have been recently updated to work with 1.3.

I'm sure I will try world merge eventually, I already have it downloaded, but I want my first playthrough to be a bit more vanilla-ish.

Anyway, thank you very much for your reply. At least now I know that the problem doesn't seem to be on my end. And I'm not the only one who wants colors :D

yeah that is the biggest reason I go this game to begin with was colors and slots, only bad thing is for the dlc I don't believe that work anyhow. worldmerge has the female character and a colors and slots. where did you get the version you have, I spent days searching. I don't know what that forums deal is, seems like you have to know someone that knows someone. I can only hope that when..maybe if two worlds 3 comes out they would have made the customization a little better. You will like the worldmerge after playing vanilla, little bit harder but doesn't get as boring 20 hrs in. p.m me if you discover anything else mod wise about the game

It is. I just went to the insidetwoworlds site, and an unregistered user, and downloaded two files from the forums by clicking on the disk symbol at the top of the first post. No problems at all.

Edit: Also, if you go to the front page of the site you will see this message:

"Sorry we have currently problems with our mailserver so no activation email will be sent.
During we fixing the problem we have temporary enabled administrator registrations.

If you already registered at inside Two Worlds and havn´t received an activation email
please feel free and send a email to inside_two_worlds@gmx.de

Ha, that message was postet 2 days after I registered. I guess it's my usual bad timing. And while I was waiting for an email response, my account got activated.

But I still can't download posting attachments. Here ist the updated dyes and slots mod and when I click on the file, I get an 1x1px blank gif. I tried several browsers and I asked a friend to try it. It's just clicking on a link, right? What am I doing wrong?!

But now that my account got activated I can ask there, so thank both of you for your help, again!!

I can't get that link either. It is posted as an attachment rather than as a normally hosted mod, so that is obviously where the problem lies.

Unfortunately, that's the way most of the current mods are posted there. The real download section is rather small for TW II.

I can't download the "Questitemlocations.txt" file in the worlrdmerge post from that forum... did someone had the chance to save it? Frankly I can't find two of the first five shards and I don't have all the freetime I once had...

I learned the hard way to be careful of mods...its like playing Russian roulette with your game. I had to reinstall Skyrim on steam because a MOD a young friend installed ruined the game which I had 1000 hrs. of play time. Even after reinstalling
I still had the problem. I did find a cheat to solve the problem but It made me see that MODing can be dangerous. do I still do it? Yes but I am very careful.
