Nothing new regarding the macOS version. No word from the devs, not even on Steam. It took them several months to release the macOS version of Turok 1, that's why I'm still hopeful.
Not so hopeful anymore :(
Well, hi there. I just want to know if my core i5 7200u machine can run Turok 2 properly, the playing specifiations ask for a quad core processor (i understand that mi laptop is dual core). Thanks a lot.
Steam version does have both Linux and macOS now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/405830/Turok_2_Seeds_of_Evil/.
GoG, wake up!

Well, as usual: Users of other systems like Windows are treated second or even third class here on GOG. Nothing new since the release of native versions, but hey "Blood" is released - using the same engine as "Turok 2" for this new polished version. And guessing again: Just for Windows, with some promise for other operating systems coming up. How long? Months or years from now, GOG?

It's not GOG's job to provide platform support in this case. It's Nightdive's.

Well no? Of course it is on Nightdive to deliver the files for concurrent finished ports, of course. But it is also on GOG to provide information about progress getting those ports here when people bought them especially just for the reason being DRM-free (version on Steam is not independent from the client-software for starting the binary). So the comparison is the same: Metro-series got native versions elsewhere, "Age of Wonders 3" got native version elsewhere, "Turok 2" already has native versions elsewhere and the new port of "Blood" Is questionable compared the time waiting already here just for "Turok 2".
The situation with this game is especially frustrating since Turok 2 for macOS and even Linux have been available on Steam for ages now.

I don't think this is going to be changed in the near future: Don't know if Nightdive has lost interest into DRM-free releases for all platforms but even Strife got therefore the native port, even with source-code to be compiled under not supported operating-systems like OpenBSD. Yes, we can wait longer. But speaking for myself: I've lost interest or better the trust in GOG and in Nightdive itself especially. They even don't support open-source at minimum for the time being as the whole renewed engine is closed and proprietary again. Thanks for nothing, Nightdive!
As of today, it looks like the Mac version of Turok 2 has finally been added.
Still no Linux version yet currently
