Just out of curiosity, have you talked to Night Dive about this? They tend to be fairly responsive when contacted, not that it's a guarantee that anything will get accomplished but an answer is better than no answer at all.

Achievements anyone? 5 years later and still nothing. Also the game's most recent update on GOG was released in the fall of 2017.
