Steam got a mac Version + Update 3 a while ago. Will this be available for GoG Users too?

I'm wondering about the Mac version too. I use a Windows 7 PC, but my roommate uses an iMac (Yosemite) and wants the Turok remake. He also prefers DRM-free games.

I'm afraid to buy this game because I've heard that the game crashes every time you kill the first boss after you get the bow and the arrows and that the issue hasen't been resolved yet.
