Hey there! Just saw this added to GOG and had a few questions.

I have played the original PC version and the music was played via audio tracks on the game cd. As this is a digital release, is there no music or has the music been converted to sound files and play that way?

The original PC version also had a glitch where the map did not work anywhere except the bonus stages. Is that fixed in this release?

Thanks!

The music plays properly. You can find the .ogg files in the directory Turok\music. Also the map works too! When would the glitch happen? I can use the map as much as I want in my experience.

This version uses the Nintendo 64's music which was different than the PC's, and was a bit more dynamic.
i dont know when or where these map glitches occur you talk about

but i have finished lvl 4 ... so far the map worked everywhere

Oh, well that's a bit disapointing, as the cd audio was much better than the n64 version.

Thanks!

The map was broken on the original Turok PC port from 1997

The music is stored as plain ol' ogg files in a music directory, so it should be pretty easy to replace them if you want. It'd be cool to have both as built-in options, though.

Actually working on a small mod right now to use the PC's CD audio tracks in this port, stay tuned.

Ok, we've stayed tuned for almost a year now. Any update on your mod?
