I get the message;
"Tropico has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
whenever I try to run Tropico 1. This seems like the same problem I run into every time I try and run Tropico on XP. This is supposed to be compatible with XP, as I understand, however. Any help would be appreciated.

This question / problem has been solved by Ralackkimage
Is the radeon 7000 series an onboard chipset?
No, it's a PCI card, and the Geforce 210 is a PCI-E card. The game isn't 'trying' to display it's video on the Radeon, but my center screen, which is one of the two displays on the GeForce 210. Still, do you think it may be causing the problem?
I could try removing the Radeon from my computer and trying to run the game then.

You don't need to go as far as removing it, just try disabling it from device manager. If that doesn't sort it you could also try setting it so your computer only picks up one of the monitors and see if that has any effect.
Hey, that worked! Thank you!
After some testing I have determined that I don't even need to disable the card, just temporarily keep my desktop from extending to the third monitor.
