Not sure how I should feel about it. I liked Trine and Trine 2 as 2d sidescrollers.

It's looks like Trine 3 bounces between being a 2.5d sidescroller and a 3d platformer now.

Same here, not sure about the new design. It does look pretty cool in the preview though... especially the thief's grappling stunts, and I prefer playing as the thief and to grapple my way through levels wherever possible. 8)

I for one think the 3D movement looks like a nice change of pace.

I just hope Frozenbyte doesn't make us wait too long.
