Hello, I have a question. Steam version of Trine 2: Complete Story has Czech subtitles (since the release), but GOG version Trine 2: Complete Story not. Would it be possible to add Czech subtitles to the GOG version of Trine 2: Complete Story?

Sorry for the late answer! The GOG version of Trine 2: Complete Story should have all the same languages as the Steam version. You can select Czech from the game's launcher by clicking the Language dropdown menu. Note that Czech can only be selected from the launcher, not the game's settings.

Hello, I tried to install run GOG version of Trine 2: Complete story. Unfortunately, Czech subtitles do not work. The game can only be installed in other languages (English etc.). After installation, however, the Trine 2 Launcher is free to choose Czech and the launcher is in Czech. I chose it and started the game. In the game, however, it wrote me localization missing. On Steam this procedure works and when I select Czech in the Launcher, the game starts with Czech subtitles. Is it possible to fix it? Would it be possible to add Czech subtitles to the GOG version of Trine 2: Complete Story?

You're right, it looks like something is broken with the Czech localization. I've informed our QA department and they're investigating the issue right now, so hopefully we can find a fix soon. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, I'll let you know once we know more.

Sorry, no updates about the situation yet. Trine 2 is an older game already so going back to fix something isn't a very simple process. We're still looking into whether it's even possible for us to fix it now. I'll let you know once we know more, sorry for the long wait!

any progress on this issue?
Even tried to compare Steam files and Gog files of the game , but they are mostly same and wasnt able to turn the Cz lang in GoG version (works flawlessly on steam one) ... so there musz be something else thats blocking CZ localization in GoG build
