Hello. I have two questions regarding hats and Dimensional Fragments (these clover-like things).

Hats - there are six of them. Is there any differences between them or they are just for show?

Dimensional fragments - there are four prizes (for 10, 20, 30 and 40 "clovers"), but I read about at least one more fragment hidden somewhere. How many "clovers" can be collected? 40, 41 or more?

First question:different hats have different skills and uses but i will not tell you what they all do as that would be spoiling, but they're hints in the game about the different hats.

Second question: according to this walkthrough there should be 40, no more no less>http://jayisgames.com/archives/2011/11/treasure_adventure_game.php

I found this thread on Robit Studios forums regarding the 41st fragment:
http://www.robitstudios.com/treasure-adventure-game-forum/post/1737664

That walkthrough on the website in your link is possibly the only text walkthrough currently available on the Internet. However, they haven't figured out all hats.
well ok that's fair. i don't know why theres 41 fragments when you only need 40 to get all the prices.

they haven't figured out all the hats such as the explorer hat, but most hats have a function.
AFAIK the paper hat and explorer hat don't do anything. At least, I haven't figured it out yet, and I wore the explorer hat almost the whole game on my second playthrough. They do contribute to percentage completion, though, so you need them for the good ending. And I've found 41 fragments as well, though you only need 30 to get the good ending. I was actually pretty disappointed with the 40-fragment prize, as it's just cash and I'd already bought everything by then.

I know the paper hat does nothing, but, I have a strange feeling the explorer hat does something. Could be wrong, but, I guess your best bet is to ask the developer.
That's indeed possible, because Paper Hat is required to progress, and others are optional.
I was able to figure out the Explorer Hat. To avoid major spoilers, it works similar to Top Hat (scares certain enemy), but a different one. I will not tell you which one.
Hi,

I just found out that the last hat is 'mouse hat'. You get it from Midge, the mouse soul, in S-Mart after getting the third treasure.

Its purpose is to look friendly to animals (thus they won't attack you).

And in the animal village, Simun, instead of talking about how terrible humans are, he regards you as a friend when you wear the Mouse Hat. Not sure if that makes any difference, though.

Who/what does it scare? Everywhere else on the internet says it does nothing.

Since you're resurrecting this topic atfer over five years, I will reveal the answer - one enemy will run away from you moving backwards.

Thanks! I was wondering about that. You might be the only person to have discovered this. I wasn't sure if you were even still active here so I didn't expect such a quick reply!

I've censored the quote of your reply, feel free to edit your post if you wish to maintain the mystery for others.

I just tested it but I couldn't find any difference in their behaviour.
