I set up a new system, reinstalling all kinds of stuff, including train valley 2, and I want continue the game where I left off on my old system.

But I can't seem to find the savegames!

With other unity3D games, those tend to be at /~/.config/unity3d/Studio name/Game name/saves or something like that, similar to the default way under windows where you just put all kinds of stuff into documents, or at /~/GOG Games/Game name/saves , but both locations don't bring up anything that looks like savegames. I can find something on steam (https://steamcommunity.com/app/602320/discussions/1/3288067088106605347/) where the developer(?) says that the savegames (on windows) are in the registry (WTF?!), so I'm afraid they did something similarly retarded on linux (though with an user install, it can't at least be outside of ~.

Any pointers?

Hello there!

On Windows, Train Valley 2 indeed does store most of the information like settings and per-level progress in the registry.

Unfortunately adding cloud save functionality for GOG Galaxy is not a priority at this time. As a workaround, please apply following launch parameters to your Train Valley 2:

-open-level ХХ -force-stars ХХ

Replace the XX with values representing your lost progress, or just set those to your liking. Keep in mind that -open-level will unlock all the levels up to xx across all campaigns and DLCs and will disable achievements.
