Have 9 points available but no matter what I do charaters skills remain the same when I leave the page. Help please as am enjoying game. What actions do I take on the skills page to remedy this.

Thank you for your reply, but I do not have a 'confirm' button on Skills page.

Try double clicking the boxes you want to assign points to, then close the character screen.

Note that you can reassign skill points whenever desired; they are not set in stone.
