One of the most annoying things about TAK is the unit limit. At least in free-style games, you can up the limit to 500 manually with a slider, but for the campaign, nothing seems to be available. And even 500 might be restrictive.

Is there an easy way to increase this? Clearly modern systems are more than capable of handling the extra units 10 years later. (An Amazon reviews from 1999 complains that it's a bit resource-hoggy on a Pentium 1. X-D )

Campaign balancing. TA had the same thing, 200-250 units in SP missions.

Also I don't think Cavedog expected us to be playing the game years later on substantially more powerful computers.

Which means carefully selecting which parts of your base to wipe out halfway in. And only splash damage works.

In fact, it is possible to use the latest official balance (CB) instead of the 1.0 version.

It's possible as well to increase the unit limit beyond 1k.
