Hi. I'm new to TA. I always heard it was a great game so I purchased it from GOG.

Anyway, I'm playing mission 4 of "arm" and it just won't end! I've cleared all the 'black' area and can see the whole map, but there are no more red dots and the mission simply will not end. I already cleared out the whole enemy base and all the other random units.

Please help!

That was weird. I just reloaded the save game and had my guys walk all around the map again, then suddenly a red dot (enemy bot) appears out of nowhere. I kill him and the mission ends. Not sure I'm getting what all the fuss is about with this game. I remember having a lot more fun with the original command and conquer back in the day.

Multiplayer\skirmish (preferably with mods) is where it's at. The early campaign missions are not very interesting.

Wait till you see the entire screen filling with units and intimidator shells blowing the crap out of everything from range.,pressing T to track your 50+ squadron of gunships and bombers wipe everything out.Amazing stuff.

Not ending on an elimination mission is a known bug. This is most often caused by a hidden unit (say an underwater one) that your units can't find. There are none in this mission so I would say if you have captured any buildings then destroy them either with force-fire or get the commander to suck them up. Sometimes when buildings are captured, they are not correctly recorded as 'destroyed'.

Also, get fast-moving units with good vision ranges (like Peewees) to patrol aggressively. Sometimes when it is losing the AI sulks and takes it's units away and hides them under trees and things. Ensure you have 'Fire at will/Roam' selected. It might also be worth having [url=http://tazone.tauniverse.com/resource/key.shtml ]+shootall on [/url] so so ensure anything your troops see will get shot.
