Hi,

The GOG game comes with a manual for the base game, however there are no manuals for the expansions: Core Contingency and Battle Tactics.

Did these come with separate manuals?

I found some evidence on eBay that at least BT did:

There is a nice manual for both, but really, what is there to know in the expansions that you don't already know from playing the original?? Nothing much at all.

It's not really for the knowledge per se. It would be nice to have them. For a lot of the classic games the manuals were part of the experience. Hey, I'd read manuals just for fun even for games I'd beaten multiple times.

When you say nice manual do you mean a full manual of just a CD-case booklet? Any chance of a scan?

Just a cd case booklet.

I don't have a scanner at the moment.... old one died some years ago and i have not found a need for a new one! lol

I tried to google it but they all just want to show the cd case, the disk or the box, never the manual, lol, sorry.

No problem. Any chance of just telling me what's in the manuals? Storyline? New units descriptions...?

I do not remember there being anything remarkable in them to be honest?

Not even sure i still have them? If i did, they would be packed away somewhere with all my disks.

Now that i am used to sites like GOG and Steam, i do not have any patience to fart ass around with disks! lol.... you know... i don't even bother getting the disks out to install a game, i just buy it again online!..... the way of the future is that disks are nothing but landfill.

I've just dug up the Battle Tactics CD booklet.
It has a description of each mission and a section on controls and cheat codes.
