I downloaded TA when it came on Impulse (lost my CDs) but when I play in widescreen resolutions there's a terrible flicker. If that problem isn't in the GoG version I'd buy it. Is there anyway around the flickering?

I bought both the impulse version and the GOG version of TA. The GOG version does not flicker more than 2 seconds after loading a map for me and i am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I'm playing in 1366 x 768 res. The music did not work in the impulse version for me but it does in the GOG version.

I have not screen flicker on my Win. 7 laptop.
With the impulse version, when I bought it, you could only play the fantastic soundtrack by going through a needlessly complicated work-around. As great as the soundtrack was, and how much it TRULY contributed to gameplay, it wasn't worth it to me to mess around with so much baloney.

The GOG version reportedly plays the soundtrack just fine, without any additional work. That's a huge plus in my mind, and possibly even worth buying the game a second time (besides back in the day, that is).
