I'm stuck at Oom's companion quest...

The journal says I need to find a being from beyond this reality, opened through a gate in a man's body.

I'm about to leave Sagus Cliffs and I'm afraid of losing the sidequest if I don't complete it. Does anybody have a full walkthrough for the quest?

Well I can tell you for a fact that even before they added Oom, that there was already a gate in a man's body - and this location was NOT in Sagus Cliffs.

Now I haven't played this since the update (so haven't tried the companion quest), but it wouldn't surprise me if they're talking about the same guy. If so, then you won't see him for a while yet.

Unless of course they added another guy with a gate in his body...?

Found it, it's an NPC in one of the Bloom Sub-locations. Not saying any more :)

Cool, that confirms it's the same guy. Good to know for when I finally play this with the latest version.
