That would seem to make sense. Maybe the reason Leenah is so much taller than everyone in Escarpa is that Escarpa is not her true home and the king and queen are not her true parents. She could've lost her parents just like Torin did, which could be a connection they could've bonded with.

I'll bet Al Lowe planned on making a sequel to this game that would've expanded on Leenah
That's seems likely, Lowe did mention her as one to have focused in a sequel (page 16 in the pdf) http://allowe.com/gamedesign/Torin%20Design.pdf

I know this is a necro post, but I have the actual answer. Years ago I emailed Al Lowe himself becuase I believed that Leena was Lycentia's daughter (based on the fact that they had similar hair color and she didn't seem to fit in on her world.) But alas he confirmed that she was indeed from Escarpa. He then proceeded to thank me for emailing him and taking him down memory lane.
