I'm stuck in Chapter 5, Torin's floating around crystal and I try to use the bagpipe to move around. I know this is the right thing to do, except that when I click on the directions arrows that appear after equipping the bagpipe, nothing. Torin doesn't move at all.

Does anybody else have this problem?

You need to hold the button down a bit. You'll see a strength meter below the arrows.
