Ok, then I admit that my knowledge was clearly out of date, thank you for correcting me :-)
Torchlight 2 is on Steam sale today.
I'm disappointed that it didn't make it here.

fuzzybootz: Will Torchlight 2 be available on GoG's catalog after release? Just asking to see whether or not I pre-order somewhere else or wait until release and buy it on GoG.
Thanks!
A DRM free copy of Torchilght 2 would be good, but i doubt it would come to gog any time soon simply due to the steam workshop integration that is currently in place, though if time is spent on it there could be no reason for this feature to be generalized for all mods rather than just workshop mods,

so it could come but it would need some work by the developers.

Only the version sold on Steam has Steamworks. The one from Runic has its own DRM.

hmm i was completely unaware of that you could buy it from Runic directly,

i take what i said back then, a GOG version is entirely possible. :D
VOTE for Torchlight 2 to appear here in order to increase the probability (;
In case anyone's been watching, Humble Indie Bundle 14 has a DRM-free version of Torchlight II listed in its game lineup. Something tells me a release on GOG is not far away... finally.

Thanks. It took them long enough...
The first one released on GOG months after HIB . Please vote more , mail Runic Games and keep posting on their official forums . I am doing this and it seems only thing we could do .

That was potentially done (in part at least) to make sure the HIB didn't lose any charity sales by having TL2 pop up on GOG at the same time. A little exclusivity deal-type of thing is possible as well. Who knows.

Oh, and here's a link, since I forgot to put one in before...

In the best situation we will see it on here after 2 weeks :) But still I am thinking , probably it won't happen .

Same here. I'll probably grab the DRM-free HIB version this payday, but a GOG release would be very welcome.

I've thrown some requests at Runic for a DRM-free Torchlight II as well. I even pushed for a Linux release (as I'll be switching to Ubuntu by years end). They eventually released a Linux version of TL2, so I wouldn't rule out a GOG release.

**Hoping that since Runic had let the cat out of the bag by releasing TL2 on HB DRMfree, that they will bring it here to GoG**

Would be nice if TL2 would come out on GOG. I checked G2A.com and there is a listing for a GOG key for Torchlight 2 but of course there are currently no sellers. Hopefuly this means it is coming at some point though. I'm working on getting all the Steam games I have on GOG an lets just say I've hit a wall now and there just isn't as much being added.

Hopefully the Batman games and other AAA games will come to GOG.
