Anyone having trouble getting Totchlight 2 to run today? I click on the icon and nothing happens.

Today, it worked for me after 2nd try. But I have only the demo version, because I won't buy Torchlight 2 with activation limit. I'm not going to buy it on Steam either. If Runic will release the DRM-Free version on GOG, I will buy it right away. I could still enjoy Torchlight 1 or something different.

Runic told me I didn't have an activation limit.

Did you bought the game directly from Runic? If I remember correctly, there was a limit (10 activations) during release. Did Runic really lifted it? I cannot find any information about that on the Internet.

I did and I just got an email from them. They told me not to worry about it and that while there was a limit if 10, if I ever ran out I just need to email them with my password and they will give me more. I don't know how honest they were being but I love the game and I've learned from them if you bitch and moan enough they can cut some corners for you.

That's fine unless they go out of business and then you "use up" your activations. Sacred 2 was a prime example.
