How do I install mods if I have the MAC version of the game?

I've looked and there is not any folder created when under application support like all the articles talk about.

When I look under package contents for the game I don't see a place to put mods either.

COULD SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS!! I am on a MAC, not windows.

Try locating the Torchlight application in the finder. Highlight it and find the "Open Package Contents" menu option. Open the Resources folder and see what you find. If the mods folder is not in there, try Home/Library/Applications Support/runicgames/. It's in one of those two places, I can't remember which off the top of my head.

I tried that. I was finally able to find the applications support folder, but there isn't anything there for RunicGames even after I've run the program.

There also isn't anything in the package contents either. I put my mods in a new folder named "mods" in the resources folder and nothing happened.

What do?

Type: Shift+Command+G while you are in the Finder and type ~/library in the command box. Press enter and you are in the hidden library. The path you are looking for is /Library/Application Support/runic games/torchlight/mods .

Except one thing. When I drop the folders for the mod into the mod folder under torchlight nothing happens. It loads slower, but the new character classes aren't showing up.

i have yet to stall a mod myself to my satisfaction.
I added a "no disenchant" mod to mine yesterday and it worked, but there are no models or graphics in that one.

Well, I have a pet mod working right now. :)

I think I know how to get my other pet mod working.

How?
So far all the mods I've tried have worked, no problem. I haven't tried any new class, pet, or texture mods yet though.

The pet mod that allows you a turatara that I installed -- a lizard man -- doesn't work.
The only mod I've tried so far that didn't work is the Torchlight 2 pets mod. There are no textures on the new pet models; they're just plain white.
