Hello !

can anyone explain what is an "RTX 970" ?
Because it is shown on the GoG page.
And as I know this NVIDIA GPU does not exist.

Maybe, we must read GTX 970.
BUT....

Thank you GoG to give some more precision...

MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS *: Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel i3 3240 or AMD FX 4100
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDA GT730 or AMD R7 240
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 5 GB available space
I'm using the steam version but it seems like it doesn't actually support Windows 7. I get this error when trying to run it:

Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point GetOverlappedResultEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Which apparently comes from something that's only available in Windows 8 and higher.

I agree. The game does not seem to work on Windows 7. When I run it, I get the following message.

"The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll."
Maybe the issue is that the games require DirectX 12 as "minimum" and DX12 are only available in Win10+ ?

The fact they list Windows 7 as a compatible OS while *requiring* DX12 is a pretty big overlook, I would say.

You are right. I didn't notice the DX12 requirement. In any case, both GOG and Steam highlight Windows 7 compatibility, but I don't trust it, because not even the game's languages are set correctly.

Someone has figured out a workaround here:

Works great for me so hope it helps anyone else still using W7

Using Windows 8.1 myself. Initially I got a "d3d12.dll file missing" error, which seems to be part of DirectX12 / Windows 10+. This was fixed by update to version 1.01.
According to the Steam post, the remasters use OpenGL instead of DirectX. This is why the games can run on Windows 7. The workaround described in Steam basically consist on redirect the EXE file to the proper files, not to the DirectX files that the games are not going to use.
