Tomb Raider 4 & 5 both have terrible window borders around on FMVs and the game itself, although I don't have Windowed mode on.
Is it the problem with me running it on Windows 8, though Tomb Raider 1+2+3 all run perfectly with no problems. I have tried many of the setup options and compatibility modes but no luck, still borders.
Does anyone else have this issue and have a fix or tweak or something?

I have the same problem in 2,4 and 5. I am also running Windows 8. 1 and 3 does not have any problems.
Damn Windows 8. I also have the same problem... As if Window's 8 wasn't confusing enough I can't find the setup for TR4 and 5.
It seems that the only way to fix this is to run in a window and then use a borderless fullscreen program. It would be nice to get a proper fix though.
Edit: Nevermind.

I'm updating this thread to note that Windows 8.1 seems to have fixed this.
No windows 8.1 did not fix this.

It also crashes when trying to go full screen in your highest resolution.

Use the Tomb Raider series fullscreen border fix to remove the borders.
Before discovering the above fix (thanks Arkose!), I found that running it at 1600x1200 (my native resolution is 1920x1200) was a nice middle ground for a 4:3 ratio, as well as not having the FMV sequences be reduced to a tiny window (It now stays in full screen mode). I've only done this with 4, haven't tried 5 yet.
