king_kunat: Hey everyone! The patch should be live right now. Sorry that you had to wait.
Any news regarding the new patch released today (April 11th)???
It's a major update, PLEASE let us know when it's coming to GOG.

A day later and still no patch on GOG, no news, nothing.
it can only be a matter of weeks
I made a meta post about it on Reddit. I'm hoping it will catch the attention of either Saber/Aspyr, but I feel like that's a long shot.

Could you post a link to that post?
Thanks in advance
PATCH #2 IS NOW LIVE FOR GALAXY USERS.
It's a 429mb update. We only had to wait 4 days.
It seems to be rule now. Aspyr releases patch, we wait for at least 3 days (plus days which would be weekend). In this case 3 days were on sunday => patch is on monday.

It is annoying to wait. But we got the patch, which is awesome :) . Thanks Gog!

I just wonder about those 3 days: Is it delay caused by testing the patch? Maybe Gog even waits if patch broke some stuff on Steam/Epic so they avoid revert and pissed customers? Does Aspyr give patch later to Gog? Maybe Aspyr even collabs on patch with Epic or Valve, but not with Gog - they only give them generic version? Also pretty sure gog has to do some Gog specific changes too, which might take couple days.

There has just been a weekend, maybe GOG has a team that aproves patches?

Ugh, GOG won't let me post links.
Initial release and change from EA to 1.0 release are tested and published by GOG team. I dont knownif they time to time do additional tests.
Usually further updates to game DB entry and depot updates are half-automatic. There is publishing tool for GOG Galaxy client. Devs upload new public update its processed to Galaxy automatically.

Ueually offline go after finaly uploaded build to Galaxy, in automatic way by some GOG servers scripts. Devs unrelated to it, nor the GOG team. New setup exe file appear automatically for players.
Sometimes there is adiitional offline updates and sometimes missing offline updates. Or sometimes further delay of offline update. So by GOG side there is no additional delays for Yalaxy but there is delay for offline (wtill should be not so long). It's still normal that GOG get updates after Steam. More like some delay - some tefhnical - are from publisher side. Ideally? It should be 1-2 day but not 4. Practically it can be days, weeks month, years or never happen.
