Whenever I try to save in the game (after clicking on the life saver and clicking "Save" in the top left corner of the next screen) the game freezes, forces me to the desktop, and remains frozen in a black window in the top left corner of the screen. I can Ctrl-Alt-Delete the TI.exe ("not responding") after this, but not much else. I've tried saving in tour mode but it doesn't do this. Instead, the game just states I cannot save in tour mode. Any fixes?

I'm having the same issue and support says that I'm the only one. Clearly I am not, have you found a solution?

Like you say this does seem to be a fairly common problem of late - try directing support to this forum specifically these threads. Maybe it will convince them that you're not the only one with the problem. Good luck.

I'm having the same issue.

Tried Compatibility Mode and running as Admin

Other topics mention this bug was introduced by an update - any way to roll the GOG installation back to a previous version?

Just for your information, I completed the game on Windows 7 without any problems saving using the current version:
setup_titanic_adventure_out_of_time_1.0_tour_fix_(17629).

What version of Windows are you using?
Windows 10 Home

x68K: Windows 10 Home
I've just installed the game on my PC which is running Windows 10 Home and the save function works normally for me (I didn't need to use any compatibility settings):
- Clicking on the lifebelt opens the main menu.
- Clicking on 'Save' opens the save panel.
- Remember to name the file before you save it (i.e. change *.ti to yoursavename.ti).

The only suggestion I can offer is to check that the game isn't installed in your 'Program Files' or 'Programs File (x86)' folders, as I know this can sometimes cause problems with saving. (I install all my games in a separate 'Games' folder.)

Hope you can solve the problem.

Thanks for replying. I refunded the game, but maybe some time I'll try again.

Your last suggestion is possible, my GOG galaxy client installs to D:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\
