This is true for all people using GoG.
It seems like they named v1.48 as v1.49.
Then when the actually v1.49 update was released, they thought that it was already on GoG. So they didn't update it.

They have been doing updates weekly so hopefully we get v1.50 on Monday or Tuesday.

Just no. Why would any company (Nordic) think they already released their product 'cause a third party (GOG) says so.

Fact is that Nordic needs a couple of days to support GOG with the updates after they released on Steam (1.47 took 4 days; I don't expect them to do much on weekends so I expect 1.49 to hit sometime between now and wednesday).

1.49 is out and it screwed up out autosort icon in the caravan.... see below. Ihope they address this glitch, it makes the slots unusable and the auto merge/sort always tosses relics in those spots.

Lol so GOG updated to actually 1.49 yaaaay!

But in the mean time Steam updated to 1.50, so I still can't play with my wife and kid :D

The game is DRM free on GoG. Just copy your version of the game and share it with your wife and kid.
Just make sure you backup their saves.
And you don't have to feel bad about copying. Because they anyways own it on steam.
