Basically the storage window and character window are cut off when I click on the caravan guy who stores your stuff for you.

so, any ideas? Help?

I have a 4:3 1600 x 1200 monitor.

It wasn't that serious, I just tried restarting the app... Which is a pretty simple and obvious solution. I'm actually a little bit embaressed to have even started a topic about this. I changed resolutions and hadn't restarted it, so I guess it didn't complete the process for all of the HUD/interface elements.

There's no such thing as a dumb question. I did the same thing. It may seem like a minor problem, but your post may help some newbies out there.

It's easily done and loads of people have done it - me included :) Thanks for posting the solution.
