I own the whole collection on Steam, minus the Eternal Embers expansion. For personal reasons, I no longer do business with Steam, and would like to buy the expansion on GoG, instead.
From my understanding however, I can't simply buy Eternal Embers and plug it into my Steam collection. (Or can you? I would love to know!) I was told I would have to re-buy the entire collection if I go with GoG. If that's what it ultimately comes down to, I'm okay with that, if it ever goes on sale.
I've had it wishlisted for quite awhile now, and I've waited with much anticipation for today's sale to finally hit. I was quite sad to discover that nothing of Titan Quest is currently on sale. Any particular reason for this? And any idea when this might go on sale over here?
Alternatively, I'd happily purchase Eternal Embers all by itself at full price here if I could, but then I worry that the Steam version of TQ won't recognize it if I do.
I SO wish "GoG Connect" was still a thing. I really hate having to go through all of this, and I'm angry with how digital retailers work these days. (Which is one of the many reasons I'd rather just buy from GoG from now on.)
