Are all games and patches on GoG servers?
If so then they must have a train cars FULL of money and resources. Having to do full game DLs consisting of multiple GBs each and every time, rather than just a tiny patch file+installer (of said tiny patch) has to chew up their available network bandwidth like crazy, not to mention the expense. You'd think they would want to do all they could to reduce network traffic OTHER than forcing a client upon those who CAN'T or WILL NOT use it.
