Are all games and patches on GoG servers?

If so then they must have a train cars FULL of money and resources. Having to do full game DLs consisting of multiple GBs each and every time, rather than just a tiny patch file+installer (of said tiny patch) has to chew up their available network bandwidth like crazy, not to mention the expense. You'd think they would want to do all they could to reduce network traffic OTHER than forcing a client upon those who CAN'T or WILL NOT use it.
WTactualF!?

Patch 1.4 hf2 (02 December 2016)

Item pickup mechanics fixed.

Another full DL today, just for that!?
Is this the only GOG game that refuses to have individual patches? It seems ridiculous to have to redownload 6+ GB multiple times.

INSIDE got a full DL-"patch" today. The total DL of it all over again is a little over 1.2gig.
That was its first one though.

I just hope this is not going to be a common theme with GOG. A lot of people cannot use up so much bandwidth all the time. I wish GOG would bring back the patches.
This has and still is one of my most Favorite games to play, Even after the Grim Dawn came out. Since this was released, I have actually downloaded the first game, then 4 updates full redownloads before I quit doing, and just playing what I have. Ill just wait until they are through tweaking the game and get the finished version rather than stress myself or my poor computer to get it.

So for all these people telling me to oh just get gog Galaxy, how about you give me a 100 bucks for internet a month, PLUS 2-3 hundred dollars for installing the internet out to where I am in the Country? No? I did not think so. Gotta piggy back off any wireless I can in town, college, restraunts, and etc, so quit suggesting Galaxy as the #1 solution.

The new installer (damned if I'm going to call it an "update") came a couple days late. The hotel I was staying at earlier this week has a nice, fat, 60Mb connection.

Going over to Mom's place in town this evening. Maybe I can leech onto her wifi connection and download it with the phone.

Spoke too soon.

LIMBO also got full "patched today". Although that is less than 200mb & is only languages added, still looks like patches are the way of the Dodo...

Well 200 MB isn't too bad, but I wish GOG would still release patches less than 300 MB. With Titan Quest's +6 GB downloads it's just too much.
Hmmm....the Steam patch for this update was 4.4MB...yes, *mega*bytes...;) (I have both versions of the game.) I wonder why they won't supply GOG with the incremental patches they give to Steam...Seems strange to download several GB's for a 4.4MB patch.

BrokenBull: Yes, Galaxy just downloads the patch. I hesitated using Galaxy at first, but I actually like it now because it updates my games easily. Just try it at least.

fishbaits: There's still a few things I hate about Galaxy though.
It automatically starts DLing things as soon as you load it up.
Some games, like The Long Dark for instance, I stick to an older build because they added things I disagree with in game. But using Galaxy, it'll start patching it (& others) before I can stop them, some times breaking my installs.

Just as bad, as once I've managed to hit the "pause" button, I then have to click every bloody game, which then takes me to another tab, to cancel it & do that over & over :(

P.S. INSIDE (bloody great game) has also just done a full DL patch :$
You can shut off auto-updates for each game. Go into your library by using Galaxy and within the settings you can shut off auto-updates.
