Sorry to rant but, what the hell is happening with this game ?

In less than two weeks, it got updated twice or thrice, but each time it wasn't done through additional patch, and instead by releasing only one full 5.6 gb installer each time for only minor corrections

Listen, i'm pretty sure some correctings were not involving the majority of game's graphical and audio assets, so, why ?

redownloading and reinstallling fully 6gb for minor bugfixes every week is a bit tedious...
I agree. Furthermore, the character can be saved for new versions? this is very unfriendly way to attend customers...

Yep... very annoying.
New patches... Who knows, maybe there will be even new official expansion :))
It is getting annoying to download 6 gigs for a miserable patch. Now let's just hope there is at least one dev that bothers reading these forums.

It's only some minor bug fixes and tweaks, which it's why it's so crazy having to download the whole game again every time.

Yeah it's annoying. I have it on steam and bought the gog version so I could play with my son. Steam version tiny update gog version gotta get the whole 6gb again.
waow, they did it again

for patching ui and features that only depend on game main exe and has nothing to do with gfx/sound asset

not to mention the game installer took much weight when they decided to put every supported langages at once in it...

Yes it's good seing we get support... but that doesnt mean it should come in unreasonable ways...
I am also onboard with the issue of patches requiring a full download as frustrating. I have stopped updating simply because it is time consuming, bandwidth consuming and overall frustrating to have to re-download the whole game simply to apply a few megs worth of patches. The Devs NEED to release actual patches, not a re-packaged product.
Just update with Galaxy. It will just patch it without installing the whole game.

That's part of the gripe. If you don't want to use optional Galaxy, then you're stuck downloading the entire game even though a much smaller patch clearly exists within the gOg realm. If the smaller patch didn't exist then the gripe would be different. But it does exist. Why aren't those who choose not to use optional Galaxy allowed get the smaller patch?

Understood. I didn't want to use Galaxy either, but once I installed it I realized how easy it was to update my games. I never looked back to doing it manually again. I understand some may have technical reasons to not use it, but I suggest to at least try if no one has already.
The GOG-lins will have to explain why Galaxy updates with patches and not manually. I agree it would be convenient to have separate patches.
