cdnmint: Sorry for not replying, I didn't receive a notice of your comment, I must have some setting turned off or something.
I played it for a while and realized how hard a game it was, so have just played in short bursts, and still haven't finished it yet. I don't have time unfortunately to play marathon sessions. But it's a good game I think, and I've had no problems with glitches or anything.
MarianFA: Thanks for letting me know. :-)
Well, I finally finished it, but the only way I could was to use the included hint book that has all the answers and a walk through. I had originally decided I would not, and just see if I could finish without it, as back when I first played it in the early 1990's I didn't have the hints/cheats. But I just couldn't get many things and having now finished I know there is no way I could finish without the hints. Way too many obscure and, frankly, unlikely connections between different times and locals that require you to hope back and forth and figure out. I would absolutely never figure out or piece together on my own.
Maybe I'm just not good at clue games involving time travel!
Anyway I still enjoyed it once I decided to allow myself to cheat!
