I am hopelessly trapped at the slider puzzle.

I don't suppose anyone has a save with the completed slider? I found one online but it's in a different order of the worlds than I played. I played Egypt, Anazasi, Maya. The save I found is Egypt, Maya and Anazasi would be next. I may have to do Anazasi again if I do this save that I found, but if anyone played in the order I did...

Or is there a good solution. I have looked online and I have a copy of the hint book, but I'm still stuck. I guess sliders aren't my forte...

I feel dumb that I can't get this puzzle :(

This post is quite old, but I can provide you with a link to download a saved game right after the slider puzzle, should you still need one. It may be the online download that you already found, though.

I also found this comment online in regards to this puzzle:

In the Mayan culture are the game's most difficult puzzles: the Mayan calendar puzzle, the ill-fated slider puzzle (this was programmed, apparently without the parity check which would enable a solve from any random generation of the puzzle; unfortunately, about half the time the puzzle is insoluble). That might be good information to know...

I was getting VERY, VERY, VERY frustrated with the slider puzzle. No matter what I tried I could not seem to get a layout that was solvable; I'm 75 and I was getting concerned (I'm kidding, of course) I might die of old age before I finished this game.

Thanks for posting the save link,. The next world is indeed the Anasazi one and that is the last one left for me to get through.
