They probably sold 100k units on steam and 100 on gog.
All the popular indie games go this route, they make so much money over there they don't even care about gog customers, but a lot of that blame should go to gog.

They are the ones that do offline installers. They are the ones that allow developers to neglect us without repercussions. They are the ones that can't even run their business professionally or even follow their own rules. They are the ones that fail to procure games/extras for us.

Can't even complain to gog with their chat bot, and 2 month response time. Imagine how tedious it would be if a developer actually wanted to work with gog, total bush league operation.

I can't support any of the accusations you made.

I love offline installers.
They are even optionally available with GOG Galaxy...

I love their DRM free mentality.

These accusations are downright with ill intent I feel.

Are you sure about "no update"? Gog's experimental branch shows updates from yesterday and the day before yesterday.

Timberborn's latest non-experimental update/patch notes on Steam seems to be from December 2021.

tl,dr: I think gog actually has the latest timberborn updates.

It should be there, just without the fanfare of a Steam News Item.

I got complete confirmation from the devs on their Timberborn discord server thats this is not the case, no jk, they responded really quickly to it too.

You need to register to talk on their discord server.

Offline installer was not available at the same time as steam version.

Also artificially locking experimental behind GOG galaxy abusive software inside early access timeline... Whole purpose of EA is to test before release now we have two levels of testing. When do we get next level of EA?
