Hola

Any good-hearted people can tell me if you can walk in this game?

I seem to move at a very fast rate of speed. It makes it hard to control sometimes, and it makes it very hard to enjoy the scenery. I seem to be always in a "run" mode.

Looking at the manual it doesnt appear so.
Maybe try toggling cycles with ctrl + f11 / f12?

Gracias. It wouldn't let me do it in the game, so I edited the config file to drop the cycles. It made it somewhat slower, but it ended up feeling like "lag". So instead of running, it felt like I was running with lag.

Too bad, I was hoping there was a walk command. Feels like I'm driving a race car in the game, the movement is so fast. I'll mess with the cycles some more, maybe I'll find a "sweet spot".

For me it also "runs' but i dont feel like its out of control or too hard but if you have a i3/i5/i7 pc it might run even faster then it should be.
I read this, about changing affinity http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Comp/comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg/2008-07/msg00664.html
Gracias. That might be it. It does feel out of control for me.

I did figure out a way to walk. I was experimenting, and I figured out that you can move with the right mouse button. If the right mouse button is held down, and you move the mouse up, the higher you move it, the faster you move. So by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse up slightly, it's possible to walk. It's also possible to view, turn around, and go backward with the right mouse button held down.

I might be able to get use to that after a while. Can also do a combination, with the mouse for moving forward, and with the arrow keys for turning, like some of the newer games have.
