I checked that forum, and found I actually came across it before.

It doesn't seem to be active at all anymore. The latest thread before yours was from 2016, and got no replies. Even all the links (to savegames etc.) are dead.

If you want to revive the community, I suggest to revive it here on the GOG fora.

Yeah here is probably the biggest chance to find some people playing. The problem with GOG forum is that you can't post links, images etc. It's not really designed for creating a community, more likely for discussions only. Also, the GOG version of the game is older (I think) so it's kinda different from the newest one.

GOG version is at 1.2.18, as that's the last official version. However, it accept the 1.3.2 beta fanpatch just fine if you want (I don't).

I've contacted GOG to ask for a 1.2.19 hotfix or something for the character portraits.

How can you properly install the 1.3.2 beta fanpatch? I don't get it to work.

I installed this patch just like the game. You just need to choose the game folder.
