Still no new patch update :-\

I've never really eagerly waited a patch update from GOG. This one I am. I am hoping for 5-7 days time with luck it will be available. Lets hope it does not take longer than a week from now. :)

I'm sure GOG are doing their best. They need to test it with their version etc and ensure all is well. Yes the devs would have done this too.

Got to day 45 after playing it all weekend, yes I did "restore" saves though else it is just too frustrating. :) Can't wait for the new game mechanics where we can shorten the length of the war and also lessen the harshnes...at least I think we can do that.

But... those things are what makes the game fun! xD I'd rather have the war be longer and, y'know, get the patch already. =P Been waiting to do another playthrough since it's been a while since my last one.

I agree. Sometimes there is nothing you can do and you all die early on because the stuff you need just isn't available no matter what. I want to try a much shorter war and less harshness so I can see how the crafting works. I was able to make a vegetable garden but only at around day 30, it took me that long to get all the stuff, plus winter did not help either. Yes it is hard.

Not sure what you mean by "get the patch already" as it is not available on GOG yet. Not sure how long it will be but I hope it won't be too much longer. :)

It will probably take a few weeks I fear. When watching the dev video about the release of 1.3 he said DRM free versions might be a week or 2. Of course we don't know GOGs speed on this but we are about to find out. It came out THursday last week and it is Tuesday now so it has been 5 days already.

Lets see how we go. We will get it, lets hope it doesn't take 2+ weeks :) I'm sure GOG is doing the best they can.

You said it came out Thursday? The video on their youtube channel was posted April 28, which was Tuesday. To me that reads we should get the 1.3 update by around May 12. Really looking forward to it- it's later than steam, but I'm glad 11bit gave us a reasonable estimate up front.

Sorry yes you are quite right. It was posted April 28th which was Tuesday. Not sure why I wrote Thursday.
So yes hopefully by Tuesday next week at the latest......................here's hoping......I sooooooooooo want this update.
