Baggins: I have to say I am pleasantly surprised and really digging the new Thief. Especially how it links back to the original series chronologically but set far in the future (where it can stand on its own).

anomaly: Yay! Another one! We are a rare breed from what I've found. Especially among people who know the original series. I've read more positive reviews from newcomers to the series, but general hatred from the old guard.
I put 90 hours into T4 (have played T1-3 a couple times each) and loved it. Yes the story is kind of a mess, and there's some technical quirks, but there's a lot to like (especially if you have a fast PC and can bump up the graphics). I really hope this is just the first of a new series, it deserves a sequel.

Sequel and DLCs!

There is one place I'd love to go - that huge building on the docks that you face when coming out of The Siren's Rest. Some mission in there as a DLC would be excellent.

Similarly, another dock area, across the bay in the South Quarter, looks very explorable :)

BTW I've read Eidos turned a profit with recent games, and Thief in particular was mentioned, so hopefully a sequel will be greenlighted at some point!
