koreandude81: If i run the game not as an admin, they're there. But as an admin, they aren't. Oh well, case in point, running as admin fixed the video issue for me. I just had to start over. =/
Thiev: If you're running as admin your saves are read from game folder. Otherwise they're read from
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\GOG.com\<Game>\
You can just copy them.
10-4. That makes sense! I did look in the game folder and didn't see any saves so I figured they were somewhere else. I was just to lazy to look into it. Thanks for the heads up and helping out the clueless!
rorschach007: Ive tried everything in this thread... nothing is working on Thief or Thief 2. No video cut scenes at all.
What version of windows are you running?
TheUsurper: I'm also having the same issue of videos not playing in game.
I've tried everything in the thread.
If I open the movies in Windows Media Player, the audio plays normally but there's no picture.
There's obviously a problem with the codec not registering properly.
I still have my original Thief 2 discs and even the codec provided back then doesn't work.
Running Windows Home 64bit.
Are you running Windows Vista or 7?
Sounds like an issue with the Indeo video codec.
