Been stuck in the thieves guild mission for a while now. I am playing on hard difficulty and can't seem to find radall's vase and silver bracelet. Any idea where I can find it....I have cleared all obstacles.

Ah, yes. The Thieves Guild. From what I understand, it is, with good reason, often thought to be the worst mission in the game.

Now, I'm assuming you've been in Rueben's mansion. Do you remember the room where you got the key for it? It's a room with a stone fire pit kind of thing. The bracelet is in a small compartment on one side of the fire pit. It's really hard to see, but if you crouch and circle around it you should see it.

As for the vase, first you need to get the key for the safe from Rueben's house. Then you need to go to Donal's house. In his house, there is a room with banners on the walls. Take out your sword and chop all of the banners. Behind one of them is the safe with the vase in it. Again, to open the safe, you need to find the key in Rueben's house first.

If you are still having trouble finding everything (and if you have trouble in the future), this walkthrough is pretty awesome:

It is incredibly detailed. It can be difficult to use when you only want to find something specific, because the walthrough follows a very specific path, but otherwise it is really good.

I hope this helps.

I never had the "pleasure" of playing the Thieves' Guild mission because I played the original Dark Project version of the game, rather than the subsequent Gold version which added some missions (including Thieves' Guild). I have heard repeatedly that it's the worst mission of any of the games, though.

If you're really stuck on it, you can always press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+END to skip to the next mission. You're going to want to finish the game, trust me.
The Thieves' Guild is actually one of my favorites. But the 'labyrinth' of sewers underneath is truly confusing!

Most of the new missions in gold are truly complicated, extremely large, and intentionally challenging. If you like 'challenge' they can be quite fun. But if you like simpler level design, more straightforward level design, they may not be for you.

I liked it and I became lost a couple of times in that mission. What I didn't like was that I had to resort to loading every other second because the guards kept hearing me due to not creeping while crouching but after The Sword the guard issue became rather moot.
Terrible regardless of difficulty, because of terrible design. I've played some of the worst fan missions out there, and I daresay it's comparable to those If I weren't a real dedicated Master Thief such as I am, I'd skip it every time.
Just picked this game up on the insomnia sale, youre making me worried about the later levels already...

Don't be. Frustrating though a few missions might be (Thieves Guild included), they are all manageable. Just remember to have a little patience.
I had never heard of this level's reputation when I first played it so I didn't really think about it all that much at the time, but in retrospect I agree it's the most poorly designed mission in the game, and the least fun. It also lacks the same "Wow!" factor a lot of the other missions have.

It's not indicative of the quality of the rest of the game, thankfully.
The Thieves' Guild has a really confusing maze-like layout, but most of that stuff - especially the sewers - is just fluff. If you're really desperate, try one of those 10 minute speedrun-videos on youtube. They give you a good idea on how to navigate this level quickly and efficiently.

@UniversalWolf
I don't think it's a bad level per se, there certainly is a lot of fun to be had once you figure it out (such as luring the guard patrolling the streets into the guild and watching him viciously butcher every living thing in that place - swordsmen and non-combatants alike). Still, I hope that GOG puts up the vanilla version of Thief at some point, since I do agree that the three new levels tend to break the flow of the original game.

I didn't hate it. Like I said, I just didn't think much about it at the time. It's kind of forgettable compared with, say, The Lost City. I'll definitely try the guard trick you mentioned though. That sounds like fun.

Protip: That guard is on patrol, but won't arrive in time before the three guys in front of the door have disappeared into their little thieves' den. Wait until they have almost finished their conversation about passwords. Quicksave, then quickload. The three taffers should start their conversation over again. After repeating this two or three times, the unsuspecting guard will arrive at the scene. Enjoy the show!

This is one of the extra levels added in Gold version. The most complicated of the entire game. Huge, confusing, and difficult. Thief is really ok; just use the map and navigate the level carefully! Visit a site like the keeper chapel for detailed walkthrough with screenshots and stuff!
It's a maze, don't know what they were thinking. It seems like the original authors had already left Looking Glass and some untalented noobs were assigned to create it. I always skip it, it's not worth anyone's time.
