I bought Thief and I'm enjoying it a lot. So much that I wonder what the hell I missed from The Dark Mod, which I didn't have the best experience playing(as my skill is low). The question is what are some fantastic beginner skilled missions\maps for The Dark Mod and what are your favorite missions? Thanks!

EDIT: I'm looking for a reason to use my trusty sword in TDM ;P. If you could find me a combat "heavy" mission that would be fantastic. Of course I still would love to try out traditional TDM FMs. Thanks :).

It's been well over a year since I've fired up the Dark Mod, so there were only a handful of FMs around last time I played, but I remember Patently Dangerous being really good. Nice plot, solid design.

It's been too long for me to remember any specific missions that I found easy for the Dark mod, but I would recommend varying your playstyle a bit as this can make a mission extremely easy or very hard: i.e. ghosting can be near impossible on some missions, but you can make them much easier if you're not against shooting people in the head with arrows :D Don't be afraid to run away and hide like a little girl if you screw something up royally also! Sure it's a bit unprofessional but it is better than dying! And you can of course also quicksave like crazy if needed ;)

If you're really into ghosting though you will need a lot of patience and trial and error!

Well, you should definitely run through training mission for start (it downloads automatically with darkmod installation files, so this is the only mission you have to have installed by default). After that, you can try whichever you want.

I´ve played every single one so far.

My favorite one is definitely The Heart of Lone Salvation (storywise, leveldesign - definitely THE best I saw so far) and The Glenham Tower, then Return to the City by Melan and A Score to Settle (this one is designed to be challenging, though).

Wtf is martha suppose to be (those sound effects started making me shit bricks when I first heard them)? Some time of zombie? I figure that has to do with the knife thing going on. Well don't spoil it for me ;P, next time I play ima read more into that to get some more understanding.

I´m glad you like it :) Just a friendly reminder - you should definitely read every single readable document in game (that goes for Thief1/2/3, Darkmod and all the fan missions as well), because they often contain important clues on how to move forward. So never leave that out :)
