when i start up the game in fullscreen the screen freezes in the first frame of the intro move. If i press enter it goes to the menu screen and freezes on the first screen there. I can hear the sounds in the menu and the movie but i cant see what im doing so i cant start the game. help =(

I had this issue too - it seemed to work in Windowed mode, though. Try pressing Alt+Enter to switch out of Fullscreen.

If that doesn't respond, you could also try the 'Graphic mode setup' program (this didn't work for me) or you can edit the DOSbox config file - both in the Theme Hospital install directory.
I'm not sure which of 'dosboxTH.conf' and 'dosboxTH_client.conf' need editing- I did both. Changing the line 'fullscreen=true' to read false was all it took to get the game to run properly.

I think i fixed it by changing the graphic mode in the graphic mode setup to OpenGLnb, that way it runs in fullscreen aswell

Sorry guys, this has now been fixed. Follow the above instructions when changing your graphic settings but make sure to open the DOSBOX graphic controls from your Start Menu.

Just downloaded Theme Hospital and after I've clicked on new game and it goes to the "board game" screen. It seems to get stuck.... Any ideas?

Just hit "Enter" on the board game screen, and that should get you moving again
