bought the game through GOG
tried launching the game from start menu the shortcut,as well through graphic settings.nothing happens,not even an error msg or popup screen
any ideas?is the game compatible with windows 8

works on my windows 8 system. i had one crash from pressing escape during the intro videos....avoided by pressing space instead.

If you have NVidia Optimus, make sure you run it with the integrated graphics instead
