Hi.

Every time there would be some kind of action, the game just keeps crashing to desktop, and pop-ups a message about crash logs. Even in the very beginning of the game, when I want to investigate or travel. What should I do?

Edit:
The error.log says that Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation, and GalaxyPLugin.dll caused an Access Violation (0x0000005) in module GalaxyPLugin.dll at 001b:6dab5ef0. I don't know what it means. I didn't even installed Galaxy.

Hi,

I have the same problem.
Game installed without Galaxy.

Developers.... Help !
Did you try reinstalling the game?
I am having the exact same issue. Every time I load it up, I can't get beyond the first turn, as it crashes as soon as any card attempts to be drawn. This happens on every computer I have tried to run the game on.

The problem seems to be this: Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation

No idea why this is happening, but so far, I'm not happy I purchased this game since I can do nothing more than admire the load menu.
Apparently, the game needs Galaxy to be installed. I installed Galaxy, and now, the game works... I hope this issue will be resolved soon, I loved that in GOG, you didn't have to install additional softwares to play. It seems that times are over :(
Hi,
same problem for me. The game crash in firts turn.
So, the game is not fuctional without Galaxy? No chance to change it?

Bug. Send in a support ticket.
I sent ticket to support and they recommended me installing Galaxy.
So it is like jkop said. For playing this game is necessary to install Galaxy.
Good news is that the game can run offline and without running Galaxy. Just needs some files from Galaxy Client.
I'd guess that GalaxyPlugin.dll is trying to reference an address it didn't get from Galaxy, and as a result ending up in no man's land. how much involvement does the application developer have here or is this problem with the GOG Galaxy toolchain.hmmmm

anyway install Galaxy. it isn't DRM, and file a ticket to tell them to make sure Galaxy programs do not behave this way.

Right, installing Galaxy is a workaround until GOG fixes their packaging.

Wish I read this before buying. As of my writing, the game crashes on the main screen.

If Galaxy's required, it should be at least listed in the requirements on its store page. Preferably in big letters right at the start of the game description, though. I would have skipped this one if I knew Galaxy was required.

Support should be able to give you the missing files without you having to install Galaxy. They will be slow as it
seems support is behind with the overload of TW3 related tickets & new users.

Turns out it wasn't an issue with Galaxy, but the game requiring UDP loopback to work. For whatever reason.

My firewall is set to block anything I don't specifically white-list.
