I'm no video expert but even I would have concerns about a few things...

What software/algorithms are being used to capture the stream?
What software/algorithms are being used to display the stream?
Who edited the .ini files to ensure the greatest possible fidelity, and what is their level of expertise?

I could go on... but I'm not going to.

Videos cannot show perfectly what the game would look like when you actually play it.

So just wait for the release, there is absolutely no reason that the game will be a failure.

On a bit more serious note, I'd love it if a mod came and deleted / locked all those whining threads, or consolidate them into one big whining mega-thread. I'm really disappointed by the low quality of this forum, not gonna keep visiting here often, I'd rather stick to the official CDPR forums :)

But everyone should stop to refuse what is the truth. Everyone can make his own choice after that, but stop acting like it's all a rumor and just shit talking.

Finaly, there is not only user based evidence now, at least for germans there is a report from one of the greatest gaming media in germany. I think it's a really fair comparison of facts.

Yes, please, go buy some Crysis 3. What I see on the video is an amazing graphics for open world rpg, it's way better than W2. It's slightly worse than in trailer, but in some cases it seems it's mostly due to different weather/light conditions. But does it even matter if it's still amazing graphics and great game?

You are truly clueless if you think it's only the lighting. EVERYTHING has been downgraded. All of the 3D models in the world are of a much lower quality. The ps4 version looks IDENTICAL to the PC on ultra. The PC version requires a much much higher spec too. It's an absolute insult to PC gamers everywhere and I am truly pissed off.
Come tuesday there will be a massive shitstorm on these forums and I fully expect PC gamers to boycott GOG/CDPR after this.

The only thing I really fear is a huge difference of performance between AMD and nVidia, not mentionning the Hairworks.

On the paper I have a slightly better gear than the recommended one, but GTA V was a nightmare for AMD before they released a driver, and I really hope it's not gonna happen with The Witcher 3, might be a pain to have more than the recommended gear but for software matters being blocked on low settings.

Apart from that, I just can't wait to go back in The Witcher universe, meet Ciri, slay monsters, make very very tough choices that will change my gamer's life for a while, and all of this packed in a huge, thorough and narrative open world!

Models are identical in trailer and final game, textures and effects better in trailer, especially that is notable with dynamic light.

That was another good comparison Trynn With that and the OP's link on page 1 you can really see the dip in the graphics quality.

I don't understand German so I'm not sure if they played with the .ini file to beef up the PC version any more however just look at the water and the castle detail in the distance ( time 5:41 ). The colours as well looked so natural now they are heavily saturated and look almost cartoon like. I'm still excited to play but this is quite the disappointment for PC supporters. The Witcher is supposed to be a dark world and the original colours and light scheme reflected this very well. The new look is not nearly as true to the world of the Witcher. To all the people who are calling the users for pointing this out whiners you really need to step back and accept this as truth. Regardless of how the message is being delivered the game has taken a substantial dip in visuals for accommodating the weakest link here being the Xbox One.

Nah, to boycott something you need something else to replace it with. I can't imaging any other digital game seller or game developer that can replace GOG/CDPR. Besides true fans need much more than one mistake to start simply thinking about boycott.

This is but a taste of things to come. Cyberpunk will get the same treatment.
