Darktangent: I didn't think all the files were out yet? The countdown just ended for me but it says it's still not available and to stay tuned. Official release was tonight at midnight I thought.
Check the download files in your Account's library (in GoG's website).

Won't start here either after installing the patch. Doesn't even show the countdown as it did pre-patch.

Yep, using gog galaxy fixed it. So much for galaxy being optional.

my play button is still grayed out! i downloaded the patch and everything

The download files in my GoG library are all marked pre-release 15 minutes later

Apparently despite the countdown GoG has just dropped the ball with actually launching the game at the designated time. People not using Galaxy can't seem to start playing because no non-predownload files are available.
