So i try to run it one day i press play on the galaxy thing wont work i reinstall it still nothing. i would use the gog.com downloader but it crashes

Some more information would be nice. What was the problem after you clicked the play button? (Nothing happens, the button was greyed out, the game crashes soon after, you got some error message, the game doesn't start but is running in the background,...)
Has the game ever worked on your PC? Did you change something (driver update, Windows upgrade)?
Have you tried downloading the game with your browser? Account - Library - Witcher 3 - Download all 7 parts of the install files (1 exe-file, 6 bin-files)

Ritualisto: Some more information would be nice. What was the problem after you clicked the play button? (Nothing happens, the button was greyed out, the game crashes soon after, you got some error message, the game doesn't start but is running in the background,...)

i did try to do al 7 parts and it just says parts one thru 6 are damaged and makes me download them, the play button is just grey for about two mins i dont get and error message or anything, the game worked fine before also

Please try if you can start the game without Galaxy. The exe-file can be found here: The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64. Did you get some error message now? Is there an error logfile in your Witcher 3 folder?
Have you upgraded your Windows 7/8.1 to Windows 10?

that did not work either, i got no error and i haven't upgraded my operating system

Hmm... you should writ to GOG support (http://www.gog.com/support/contact). I don't have any idea in this moment how to fix this. Sorry. Good luck!

Ive had numerous problems like this example i played about an hour ago had diner now go back to play when i start it just minimizes straight away had this problem for ages the only way i can fix it is if i delete the user ini files in myDocuments delete the 3 ini files but keep the game saves folder you can try that but you will have to redo your settings in game.
I cant wait to finish the game then forget about it.Its just a mess.

I just started having this problem on Patch 1.07, though it seems like 1.08 has made it so I can hardly play.

"witcher3.exe" appears in the process list but just sits there and the game doesn't launch. Every now and then it will come up with "The Witcher 3 has stopped working".

I was playing it fine a couple of hours ago when it did finally launch, but I've been sitting here for over 30 minutes now trying to get it to launch and nothing.

I've tried reinstalling .NET, DirectX, drivers are up-to-date. This problem only started with recent patches of TW3. I also noticed drastically increased load times this patch.

Running W7 Home Premium, 16GB RAM, GTX780 and i5 3570k.

EDIT: Annnd now when it does manage to launch (through the exec, I can't launch it through GOG galaxy) I have no sound.

WTF is going on here. This is widely inconsistent behavior and other than the patch NOTHING has change from when it was working.

EDIT2:

Got sound working again... by restarting the game twenty dozen times until it remembered I had a sound card. Totally perplexed by this behavior.

Oh, I uninstalled GeForce experience after seeing a DLL error in the Applications logs related to one of it's DLLs being invoked by TW3. Will do more testing on that.
