I haven't done this treasure hunt since a few patches back(i'm on my third playthrough now on NG+). I'm doing the first tier hunt for wolf gear. The tower with the missing crystal is the one i'm currently doing, yet the crystal is nowhere to be found. Is this new with the latest 1.10 patch because i now can't progress any further unless i use console commands which i'd rather not do. I've also tried reloading three separate times to no avail.

I tried that as well but had zero luck.

Crystal is missing here too! I did power up the 1st before i looked for the other one at the scaffolding.

ok, I just updated mine today and loaded my old saves. I did find the crystal, did you guys also intall the 500MB dlc 1.10 update? If not, might be what's causing it,

I have a clean install of the game with no old saves. Here is a screenshot about the missing crystal and where it supposed to be:

Experimented a little with the console command to spawn the crystal into my inventory but the quest won't skip to the next objective until i properly loot the crystal so it's a no go.

Same here. Seems to be a massive thing with this second crystal missing.

Reloaded before coming to Kaer Morhen the first time (fortunately saved just before taking Uma with me so I just had to power through the conversations with Emhyr). Also tried the ways suggested by others (using portals in certain order etc...) all to no avail.

This also happened to me since 1.10 came in. Going on my second playthorugh and just unlocked Kaer Mohen area.
I activated the first crystal, went to look for the second on the *window frame area and it's not there.
Went to Novigrad, then to Skellige then back to Kaer Mohen and it still isn't present. Looks like it's bugged.

One thing i did which i did not pay attention was that i used the *force push while looking for it. Can the crystal get knocked out accidentally?

Same there. No crystal after 1.10. Picked schematics via "god" console command.

I cant find anything about this gear. A friend told me about this gear set and i went back to kaer morhen to get it but i didnt find anything.
